Each quarter, we nominate colleagues who have exemplified one or more of those values and pick four winners who went above and beyond in embracing out culture. The list below showcases our winners from 2023 and the positive impact they had on the people around them.
Q4 2023 Winners

Octavian Papacica

“Octavian has gone above and beyond with all his customers, but especially with one of our largest where without any tool in place, we had to collect all the Oracle software usage. He had to work with multiple data sources, had to validate information with owners and put a lot of effort into building the reporting requested by the client. Besides the huge amount of data to collect and analyze, Octavian is also very good at explaining all this data and the licensing implications to a demanding customer with a large Oracle environment. Truly an expert that is dedicated to his clients’ success!”

Colby Hill

“So much of Anglepoint’s success is tied to the work Colby Hill does on the backend that no one sees. When I joined Anglepoint, our website load times were atrocious and Google was penalizing us because of how poorly our site experience was. Colby exemplified delivering value, when we gave him charge to “fix” the website and improve its performance. Since given that charge, I’ve seen Colby put in hard development time and work to get our site to a much better place, which has increased our SEO traffic and improved the site experience. He’s an unsung hero and needs to be recognized more.”
“Colby solves problems and makes sure we have the latest technology and plugins to make sure our website not only functions well but hums along with the fastest content delivery systems available. He is very responsive and eager to deliver above and beyond the initial ask. Last quarter Colby put our website on par with the fastest websites on the internet and well beyond our competitors. Gone are the days high bounce rates due to slow page loads. Colby!!”
“Colby sits quietly in the background and whilst what he delivers isn’t necessarily noticed by everyone across the business, he is a fundamental and awesome part of our team. Having worked with external partners that support web design and digital and take 24-48 hours to respond and deliver one small change, I’m constantly blown away by the speed at which Colby responds to both simple and complicated requests from our team for things that make Anglepoint’s marketing excel. We always try to go one better with our ideas for new digital marketing and suggest things that require serious thought and expertise, Colby delivers every time and always goes the extra mile. He NEVER ask for or takes credit for some of the brilliant things we have done, he just makes them happen and makes them great! The ITAM Savings Estimator, the dynamic Gartner banner and interactive tools on the iPads at events to name but a few. They are all Colby’s work and he deserves to be recognized for making sure that Anglepoint is recognized.”
Theresa Ly

“Theresa genuinely cares about the people she works with and the success of the team. In the short time she has been on the HR team she has made a huge impact. Creating processes to streamline our productivity. She is not above getting into the thick of things to accomplish what needs to be done. She goes to bat for what she thinks is best for the company and the team and because she has such amazing relationships company wide is able to get it all done.”

Florina Tarbuc

“Florina was assigned as project manager to help IPT team deliver Phase 1 of ISO Accreditation. This was a corporate initiative with multiple moving parts including, interconnected workstreams, stakeholder interviews, numerous document creations and not to mention, the added complexities of standing up a management framework worthy of ISO standards. All to be completed with an aggressively tight timeline! Upon being assigned her role, Florina immediately jumped onboard to socialize herself with the rigorous ISO requirements, build a continuous timeline of events and seamlessly incorporate her professional knowledge to help IPT meet the required deadlines. She proved an invaluable resource with dedication, commitment and collaboration. She is a true team player!”
“Florina is a star! She is an absolute asset to any team. Even in the most complex and time-critical situations, Florina keeps the overview and brings calm to the team. She has the distinct ability to quickly familiarize herself with issues and manage the team. She is always friendly and always ready to help. Amanda Hiscock

“Amanda has brought a high level of excellence to the Revenue team’s lead generation both inbound and outbound, through her focus, methodology and sheer perseverance. She works with each team member on all aspects of lead gen from pre and post-event to AMB and applies her skills appropriately. She has a true understanding of the profile of key accounts and the best way to engage with prospects to introduce them to Anglepoint and ensure that they are receiving the right information and support from our team. Amanda has honed her skills and has a unique style and approach to her work. The work undertaken for the SAMS EU event was extremely impressive both with pre booking meeting for the team and her follow-up. This event’s success was primarily due to the time and effort that Amanda contributed. We could all learn for her to better ourselves.”

Ramon Genicio

“Ramon never passes up an opportunity to learn something new when it comes to Oracle licensing, and I really admire that about him. The progress he’s made in the past year has been fantastic and he is doing quality work with all our deliverables.”
“I have worked with Ramon on a managed service for a client and even though we were in different teams, he was always happy to share his knowledge so we could deliver high quality results. Some of the licenses of the customer were overlapping between our 2 publishers, so we had to work together to ensure all licenses were correct and he was very helpful.”
“Ramon is a genuinely good human. He is never too tired to help out and listen whenever I reach out to him, no matter how many hours he has worked on that day. He is very good on the Oracle Java assessment part and he has included me is his projects several times to help me understand the process as a new comer even if this meant that sometimes his work would be slower as he was providing me with explanations or answering my questions. “
“Ever since he joined the Oracle team Ramon has been working hard to learn, deliver value to our clients and support different team members with other projects. He is always willing to help and assist with different tasks, especially for some of the big projects where there are multiple workstreams and deliverables. Henry Jimenez

“Henry demonstrates considerate behavior towards the challenges faced by his team members. When he joined the IBM team, he took some time to grasp the intricacies of licensing and creating final ELPs. However, his own struggles have made him empathetic towards varying technical strengths within the team, recognizing that some individuals require more assistance than others. When one of the analysts on the team was struggling, I requested Henry’s involvement. For an entire quarter, he conducted daily calls with the analyst, assisting with task prioritization, job training, and ensuring completion of assignments. Remarkably, there were no escalations on the accounts Henry helped manage. Despite widespread complaints about difficulties with other team members, Henry never once voiced his own grievances. He willingly invested additional effort to train and comprehend the issues faced by the analyst. He actively listened and devised methods to enhance efficiency in project delivery. In June, during a critical quarter-end period with numerous submissions, Henry took a week off. However, he refused to leave our analyst without support and assisted in creating a tracker to ensure completion of pending items. He assigned tasks and even committed to reviewing them upon his return, despite having his own projects and deadlines. I firmly believe that Henry went above and beyond to support his team member!”

He has not only delivered all his projects on time, Henry’s approach to training has been nothing short of exemplary. He has consistently provided constructive feedback, tailored coaching, and valuable insights to help new analysts reach new heights in his performance. “I would like to nominate Wyatt under Improve Everything core value. In addition to his delivery workload, he never shy away from the process improvement tasks that we assign to him. Recently IBM changed their IASP submission template and it was difficult for us to make those changes manually to each report that we submit. We highlighted the changes to Wyatt and he worked to ensure all those changes are incorporated in our Anglepoint template. Also from time to time, our team comes up with minor requests for automation to the existing IBM ELP Delivery template and he makes sure to include those requests as a part of automation. He did a pricing macro which has made our lives easier without having to run vlookup for understanding risks and savings and actually get the financial impact with the click of a button which is huge for our team!!”
“Wyatt deals with incredibly difficult clients relative to his experience in SAM. However, Wyatt continues to exceed the expectations that others have of him and deliver incredible work. Not only has Wyatt taken on large client accounts, but he has done so single-handedly in most cases. He has also mentored new interns and simultaneously led the innovation and automation for the IBM team. The unsung hero focuses on the needs of others, especially his client’s success.”
